These dolls make me smile. I LOVE this new funky hair. I used the yarn they use with cross stitching to make their hair. Each doll has 4-9 different colors in her "hair." It's so poofy and manageable. The hair can be made bigger, smaller, pulled up, whatever. It's fun.

Is the cross-stitch yarn easier to root than normal doll hair or are they about the same?
I'm thinking of doing this to my werecat because her ears are slightly crooked and stick out to much now that I attached them right to her head.

It's easier because you don't have to take the time to divide it and it doesn't slip. It goes by pretty fast. Plus the yarn is very cheap.

Yeah, my mom has TONS of it, but doesn't cross stitch much anymore, so I can probably get some from her. They don't sell it anywhere in the town I live anymore.

I love that. Free stuff to mess around with. It's super easy. I punched it in. Takes 1-2 hours for me (depending on my kids). We had it all left over from friendship bracelets. Now I'm planning a Merida/Lagoona/Loch Ness monster with it. I love the look. Good luck!

I was going to do a green one next! lol Thank you! I've had so much fun with it, I've got at least two more dolls lined up for this hair. Finally do a Loch Ness with Princess Merida-like hair.
