Okay, so my daughter wanted more male dolls and this is what we came up with. They do not have names yet, but we're thinking Drake Drago (son of a shape-shifting dragon and human) and Dylan (vampire) a night surfer.

Thank you!

It's called flock. Back in the 60's it's how they did Ken's hair. I found the stuff at restoredoll.com. So i removed Jackson's hair and glued that on. I should have painted his head first, but the darkness under the hair is starting to grow on me.

Thanks! He's now one of my faves! I like working on the guys. For the pants I used that fabric paint I told you about and colored the scales. Took maybe 5 minutes.

I will need to look into this fabric paint. Sounds fabulous! What is the texture of the hair like once you use it? Thinking of turning Ghoulia's hair purple for a custom. Think it could work?

I found the paints at Walmart and Hobby Lobby. The hair comes out really hard at first. I leave it in over night, rinse it out, make touch ups, and then put a little bit of hair oil in the hair when it's dry again. This make is much much softer. it's not as soft as it once was, but it can be brushed and styled. I don't know if you saw my Galena Golem, but it was a purple fabric paint on Ghoulia. I think it came out really well. So far I haven't seen and "bleeding" into the scalp. Oh, so yes, I think it'll work.
