Beautiful! Do you mind explaining how you did the hair? Because I just started customs and need some tips :)

I bought a re-root tool on ebay. It's a needle with the eye cut. I put the hair between the prongs and punch it into the head. It's quick and easier than sewing all the strands in. With CAMs it's easier because you can make your own hairline, but the plastic disc can't be rooted, so the hair has to be pulled up in some way.

I'm curious; did her doll's base have that hairline already?

No, I made this one. She was completely bald with no hair line at all.

I thought so. So she was a CAM?

Yes, the sea dragon.

I've never felt how thick they are; was it a challenge to manually put hair in?

The older CAMS are much easier because they don't have a hard disc like these newer ones. It's really easy to stick a needle in. No worries.

I'll have to look for an older one online then. Thanks!

How did you get the glittery effect on the eyes?

For this one, I used nail polish. Acrylic paints work very well, too.

Thank you I was wondering. I use acrylics as well but I have never seen glittery acrylics.

I found them at Walmart and Hobby Lobby.

did you repaint the makeup? How did you get that glittery effect on the eyes?

I repainted most of the make up. Almost everything is acrylic except for the glitter on the eye shadow. That's nail polish. =)

Thanks! She one of those that came together so nicely. Wish that would happen more often. I'm thinking if she doesn't sell by Abby's birthday, then she's ours!

I can't believe she hasn't sold! She's a cutie! If my other step-sister doesn't sell she's mine come June 2nd!

Honestly, me too. I know she's pricier than normal, but I bought the torso. I'm kind of hoping someone doesn't buy her.
