Beautiful! Do you mind explaining how you did the hair? Because I just started customs and need some tips :)

I bought a re-root tool on ebay. It's a needle with the eye cut. I put the hair between the prongs and punch it into the head. It's quick and easier than sewing all the strands in. With CAMs it's easier because you can make your own hairline, but the plastic disc can't be rooted, so the hair has to be pulled up in some way.

I'm curious; did her doll's base have that hairline already?

No, I made this one. She was completely bald with no hair line at all.

I thought so. So she was a CAM?

Yes, the sea dragon.

I've never felt how thick they are; was it a challenge to manually put hair in?

The older CAMS are much easier because they don't have a hard disc like these newer ones. It's really easy to stick a needle in. No worries.

I'll have to look for an older one online then. Thanks!
